I made this guide initially for myself so that I could remember the different steps I took to successfully run XMRig on Linux.  After posting the original version on Reddit, it was received well enough that I thought a basic web building exercise would benefit myself and others.  Since the original was not very professional I wanted to re-write it in a more organized way.

In general I am very uncomfortable in a Linux environment.  The extent of my tech skills are building computers, getting an OS loaded on them, and I have successfully installed DD-WRT a few times on a few routers.  So please, feel free to send me improvements or updates or suggestions.  I will supplement the main guide with them so readers can choose which steps they want to take.  You can email me at cryptomein@protonmail.com.
